Renewing My Body, Mind and Soul

One of the three commitments I mentioned on Sundays blog post is starting the Dr. Oz’s 28-Day Plan to Renew Your Body, Mind and Soul.  Reading over the plan I think anyone can benefit from it.

Thanks to my new friend Robin over at Cocktails and Conversation gave me the extra push to start, because she is halfway through the program herself.

Today, I am on Day 4 of the Renew Your Body, Mind and Soul once I have completed all 28 days, I will come back and give you a complete rundown.  But today, let’s focus on what Day 4 is dealing with…….

Day 4: Forgive Someone

Studies show that forgiveness can lower blood pressure and heart rate and reduce depression, anxiety, and anger. I think Oprah articulated the secret to releasing grudges when she said, "Forgiveness is letting go of the hope that the past can be changed."

I can honestly say that I have no one that I need to forgive at this time.  The people I needed to forgive, I did just that in my own time. I can hold a grudge depending on the severity of the matter, but for the most part, as of today, I am grudge free and it feels good.  

Do you need to forgive anyone?
